The 2020 Distributed Wind Turbine Competitiveness Improvement Project (CIP) is comprised of seven (7) different topic areas, as specified in the Statement of Work (Attachment 1), dated:

• Pre-Prototype Development
• Prototype Testing
• Component Innovation
• System Optimization
• Certification Testing (<200m2 rotor swept area (RSA))
• Type Certification (>200m2 RSA)
• Manufacturing Process Innovation

Proposal submissions should address individual topic areas.  Offerors may submit multiple proposals for multiple topic areas.  Do not submit hybrid proposals that combine topic areas.
