The City of Safford will receive sealed bids for the 2020-21 Manhole Rehabilitation Project, City of Safford Project No. 67-613. All bids must be presented on the prescribed forms included in the contract documents. A sealed hard copy of the contractor's bid will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall located at 717 West Main Street, Safford, Arizona 85546, until Thursday, April 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Electronic copies of bids shall not be accepted, in addition, bids received after the bid due date and time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. A pre-bid conference and site inspection for the Project will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the City of Safford Mesa Yard, 405 W. Discovery Park Blvd., Safford, AZ. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. The Project includes the following Work: This project consists of the rehabilitation of 101 manholes in various stages of deterioration due to hydrogen sulfide attack. Rehabilitation includes structural repair and coating system application as indicated in the project specifications. The proposed project is located in Safford, Arizona and encompasses the area between 8th Street south to 20th Street and from 20th Avenue east to 1st Avenue (US HWY 191).
