The Public Works Director will receive sealed bids at the Public Works Department, 255 Glacier Drive, Martinez, California 94553-4897, until 2 o'clock p.m., on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at which time they will be publicly opened and read, for: 2019 Full Trash Capture. General work description: The work to be done generally consists of providing and installing full trash capture units for 134 inlets on various sites in the El Sobrante, Concord, Crockett, and Bay Point Areas in Contra Costa County. There are a total of 97 Connector Pipe Screens and 84 Automatic Retractable Screens to be installed on these sites. Project includes clearing debris from inlets, and preparing a photo inventory of each installation. You are required to subcontract a minimum of 15% of your bid in accordance with the Mandatory Subcontracting Minimum requirements within these special provisions. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Public Works Department to cover project construction and the County’s Bidder Outreach Program. Prospective bidders attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
