This project consists of mobilization, clearing and grubbing as necessary, drilling, blasting, crushing and stock piling of an aggregate surface course material at an existing Forest Service pit site. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits required for this type of project, including air quality permit, Notice of Intent from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), and Forest Service (FS) overload permit for crossing FS bridges. Ruin Pit is located approximatley 21 miles southeast of Williams, Arizona. The total funds the Government currently has available is $350,000.00. Bidders shall bid a unit price for each ton.One additive for an additional $25,000 may be awarded if funding becomes available. Bids will be evaluated on the total quantity of aggregate producted based on the unit price for the base bid. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Work is expected to begin August 2014. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds are required. Solicitation will be posted/issued on or about June 25, 2014.
