The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to modify contract 200-2010-34037 to Merck, Sharp & Dohme Corp. for the sole source purchase of 600,000 doses of Vaqta (Hepatitis A-Vaccine) and 150,000 doses of Pneumococcal (23 Valent) Polysaccharide for the pediatric patient populations. Due to increased demand for Merck's Hepatitis A vaccine, the contract maximum quantity is hereby increasead.
