The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, NSWCCD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with HamiltonJet Americas, 14680 NE North Woodinville Way, Suite 100, Woodinville, WA 98072. This Request for Quotations (RFQ) covers the establishment of a firm-fixed price purchase order for waterjet shipsets and is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures Pursuant to the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items as authorized by Subpart 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333618 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed PURCHASE ORDER based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
