The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Hydroid, Inc. Pocasset, MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for the manufacture of spare parts for REMUS 100 Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. Hydroid Inc. is the only license holder for the manufacture of any parts used on these AUV’s. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price.
