The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is conducting market research. Please provide answers to all questions list. Contractors are encouraged to submit any and all documentation that they feel would be useful. 1. How many fin stabilizers and/or rudders could your facility possibly house for overhaul?2. What would your facility projected lead time consist of for overhaul and return of the fin stabilizers and rudders once after receipt? What is your average delivery lead time for repair of this type of product? 3. What type of lathe do you have? Do you have a lathe that can handle the blade of the fin stabilizer that is approximately 30 inches and the blade of the rudder that is approximately 22 inches from the centerline of the shaft to the trailing edge of the blade? If so, please describe the type of lathe. 4. Do you offer your customers any type of discounts?
5. Do you have a published price list for parts and hourly rates?
6. What are your warranty terms? Can you please provide a copy of your standard warranty terms? 7. What are your standard terms and conditions? Please provide a copy. 8. Are there any additional charges for special marking, packing and packaging? 9. Are you a small or large business? 10. What type of testing do you perform? Please explain.
