The Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources who can High Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) Thermal spray repairs to fin stabilizers (stock number 2040-99-726-4768), and overhaul/reconditioning work to rudders (stock number 2040-01-223-2674) that are both used onboard 110’ WPB Class Patrol. The Government anticipates awarding a requirement’s contract for one base year and four (4) one (1) year options. Estimated quantity per year for the fin stabilizers is 14 each per year and the estimated quantity per for the rudders is 20 each per year. The solicitation will be issued using the option for single or multiple awards. F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd., Bldg. 88, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. This will be full and open competition. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Coast Guard Standard Repair Specification that will be attached to the solicitation. The solicitation, when issued, will be available for downloading on www.eps.gov on or about January 24, 2005.
