The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to NavTech GPS, Springfield. VA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is to purchase three (3) NCT-StarFire GPS Receivers. The receivers shall be capable to operate at the centimeter level in RTG mode when the RTK corrections are interrupted for up to 15 minutes. The GPS receiver shall be compatible with the NCT StarFire satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) GDGPS corrections. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price.
