The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed-price contract with Vericor Power Systems LLC, 3625 Brookside Parkway, Suite 5000, Alpharetta, GA 30022 for manufacture, test and delivery of ETF40B Marine Gase Turbine (MGT) Engine Systems in support of Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). This contract will provide for procurement of twenty (20) ETF40B Engine Systems in FY 2008 with an option for an additional twenty-four (24) ETF40B Engine Systems in FY 2009. As the sole manufacturer of the ETF40B MGT engine, Vericor Power Systems is the only known firm possessing the background, technical knowledge, data and facilities to deliver these supplies within the required timeframe.
