The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCADLKE), Lakehurst, NJ DDG Wind System Program intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Quality Performance Inc, Fredericksburg, VA. Quality Performance Inc. will provide interim support to the Digital Wind Systems currently being installed aboard DDG Class Ships. In order to support these wind systems the following spare parts will be required: MIU Fuse Kit P/N 80843/0102.00SP qty (12), MIU Ethernet Module P/N 81068/0200.00SP qty (24), MIU Motherboard P/N 80971/5000.00SP qty (23), SE Computer Kit including PC, adapter cables and case P/N QPI-CMPTR-001 qty (3), Digital Wind Sensor Unit P/N 80896/0200.00 qty (1), and MIU Power Supply P/N 80843/0101.00SP qty (1). NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1 Any interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days of this proposal will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
