Notice Summary Medford School District Construction Manager/General Contractor for the MSDEC Gym Seismic Retrofit Proposals Due 2:00 p.m., November 24, 2020 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP 20-00-16 Notice is hereby given that proposals will be accepted by the Medford School District at the Facilities/Purchasing Office, located at 815 S. Oakdale Avenue, Building A, Medford, OR 97501 no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020. There will be no pre proposal meeting. The Medford School District 549C (Owner) solicits proposals for a construction firm interested in providing Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) services, as that term is defined in ORS 279C.332(3), for the MSDEC Gym Seismic Retrofit Project. The Medford School District (MSD) 549C received a grant through Oregon's Seismic Rehabilitation Grant program for a total value of $2,500,000.00. The purpose of the project is to seismically retrofit the Medford School District Education Center's (MSDEC) Gym to meet or exceed the code requirements outlined in ACSE41-13 "Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Buildings". This will bring the building up to immediate occupancy standards.
