Request for Proposal: #2 Heating Oil - Two Locations
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation Number GS-02P-15-PB-P-0016 is being issued as a Request for Proposal in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78 effective December 26, 2014. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Total Small Business Set Aside
This solicitation is a 100% percent small business set aside. The associated NAICS is 454310 Fuel Dealers and the applicable SBA Small Business Size Standard is 50 employees. Proposals will only be considered from vendors who are a Small Business in accordance with NAICS 454310 and the applicable size standard of no more than 50 employees. Requirement
Two Locations:
•1. 1. FDA Laboratory Facility located at 158-15 Liberty Ave., Jamaica, NY 11433-1034. - The requirement is for 5000 gallons of #2 Heating Oil. Delivery Date is Friday, January 16, 2015. Delivery time to be confirmed at time of award.
Site Information - 25,000 gallon UST; Requires the standard gasoline station connector/fitting.
•2. 2. Alfonse M. D'Amato Courthouse, located at 100 Federal Plaza, Central Islip, NY 11722 - The requirement is for 15,000 gallons of #2 Heating Oil. Delivery Date is Friday, January 16, 2015. Delivery time to be confirmed at time of award.
Site Information - The delivery of 15,000 gallons will be split into two different underground storage tanks (UST):
Tank 1 - 8500 gallons required. The tank is a 20,000 gallon UST; Requires the standard gasoline station connector/fitting.
Tank 2 - 6500 gallons required. The tank is a 15,000 gallon UST; Requires the standard gasoline station connector/fitting.
*The tank intakes are on opposite sides of the building.
3. Quotes must be submitted on company letter head signed by an authorized representative. Please include the firm's DUNS number on the quote.
Evaluation Criteria
The potential award will be made to the vendor that offers the lowest overall price. Proposed prices must be valid for 7 days after the due date of the proposals.
The deadline for quotes is Thursday, January 15, 2015 by 4:30 pm. EST.
