The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD NSWC) Port Hueneme, Ca. intends to issue a firm fixed priced order to purchase 6 ea, P/N RFT2-19-U, 19" 1U Rackmount LCD, PS2-USB Keyboard Console. Required delivery will be in 6-8 weeks at receipt of order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 334118 with a Size Standard of 1000 employees.
The contractor is Neuro Logic System, Inc. Camarillo, Ca. Neuro Logic Systems is the only manufacturer able to meet the technical and time requirements required to meet the TTWCS v5.4.1/v5.4.0.2 production schedule. As the sole manufacturer of P/N RFT2-19-U, 19" 1U Rackmount LCD, PS2-USB Keyboard Consoles, the material being acquired must be compatible and interchangeable with other equipment used in the weapons system.
Neuro Logic System, Inc. built the consoles to the specifications based on the Navy drawings that were provided. The display consoles went through First Article Testing and passed. Neuro Logic System, Inc. owns and maintains the proprietary source control drawings, production capability, and system design expertise that is required for this system. The anticipated issuance date for this order is on, or around 17 March 2014.
Note 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within Thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
