The 170 items in the letter solicitation anticipated to be issued are being added to contract Lockheed Martin Captains of Industry (COI) SPE4AX16D9473, which was awarded to Lockheed Martin (563J1) in accordance with the approved J&A. The NIINs will either be added to the SIO Subsumable, SPE4AX17D9409, or a new subsumable based on the Lockheed Cage/Program. The NSNs identified here were not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. SPE4AX17D9409 is a 5-year contract and includes an option to extend the contract for another 5 years. Original Award date was April 2017. The list of NSNs included in this notice are part of the Supplier Initiated Ordering (SIO) population of the contract, which includes metrics and/or functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting and delivery.

Surplus dealers and distributors are invited to respond to this synopsis. Surplus dealers should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. Responses to this announcement from distributors or surplus dealers should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR. The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government.
