The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure the following item: NSN 1710-01-491-3460, Talon grid substructure for helicopter landing on flight decks of various Coast Guard cutters.All items shall be manufactured in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Drawing number FL-588-1, Rev. C, Dated 9/12/03 and specification number P-588-0404, dated May 2003. Drawings are available via CD-ROM. All manufacturing details, including special accessories/features of each item are listed on the referenced drawing. First Article Inspection/Approval and Quality Assurance Inspection is required. A form DD-250 shall be used as certification of Quality Assurance, Packing List and Certification of Acceptance. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. First Article Inspection shall be required no later than 60 days after award. Production items shall be required no later than 60 days after First Article Approval.
