The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit vendors capable of overhauling, repairing and refurbishing T-44C aircraft cabin interiors to the same form, fit, function, and color type interior as used by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE ONLY: This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. No solicitation document exists at this time. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) website via Navy Electronic Commerce Online (www.neco.navy.mil) web site. The complete statement of work and technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated release date of the RFQ is on or about 30 April 2014 and will close 30 days thereafter. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced requirements type contract. The Government will solicit this requirement as a 100% small business set-aside and is identified under NAICS Code 336413 with the small business size standard being 1000 employees. The acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 13.5 will be utilized. The proposed procurement is for a twelve (12) month base period of performance and will include a one-year option period.
