This solicitation is for a Repair Requirements Contract with a one year base period and one twelve month option period. Th1s contract will be for the repair of various components of the E2C Multi Function Display Unit (MFCDU). Only the previously approved source of repair for these items has been solicited. These items require Government Source Approval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisition via full and open competition. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
