The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole source cost-plus-fixed fee modification under contract N00019-08-C-0006 with Raytheon Company Electronics Systems, Goleta CA, for the procurement of a non-recurring effort to incorporate the ALE-55 Compatibility into the Integrated Multi-Platform Launch Controller (IMPLC). This effort will include (1) engineering for design and drawing and (2) qualifications of the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for the Government of Australia and the United States Navy. Raytheon is the only source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to perform this effort in a timely and cost effective manner.
