LCT Visual Database Suites. Army Procurement Appropriation (APA) funds will be utilized for this effort. The nature of this contractual action will be a modification to Multi-Year Contract DAAH23-00-C-0001. This acquisition is for services/items requ ired to integrate Government-furnished geographical database suites for various locations both CONUS and OCONUS. Each of the three Government-furnished database suites includes a Simulator Database Interchange Format (SIF) export file and correlating Level I Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) with which the Contractor shall develop a radar database to complement the remaining databases that will comprise each LCT/LCTS integrated database suite. Two LCT image generators will also be upgraded so that they conform to the single configuration of the remaining Block II LCTs that is required to host these databases without degradation of the tactical map function. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these services from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources.
