The US Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) intends to host a meeting for the purpose of presenting the results of the Joint Multi-Role Technology Demonstrator (JMR TD) Mission Systems Effectiveness Trades and Analysis (MS ETA) Technology Investment Agreements (TIAs). The meeting will be held on 12-14 August 2013 at the Jacobs Theater on Ft. Eustis, Virginia. The proposed agenda is located in an attachment to this announcement. The meeting is open to US Government personnel and their contractors who are US persons and have a reasonable expectation of participation in future efforts under the JMR TD or Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs. Pre-approval is required for attendance.
The purpose of the MS ETA was to conduct research and analysis regarding affordability and effectiveness sensitivities of a wide range of technologies, concepts, architectures, and processes that comprise or affect mission systems. The results of this research will be used by the Government during planning for subsequent JMR TD Phase 2 efforts. The Government entered into TIAs with 5 companies in August and September of 2012 to investigate the following areas: avionics architectures, airborne communications technologies, sensors and sensor fusion, human machine interaction, weapons and aircraft survivability equipment. The purpose of this meeting is to have representatives of the performing companies present the results of their studies and analyses including recommendations for possible future Government investment.
Persons seeking admittance to the unclassified sessions on 12-13 August 2013 must submit their accepted Military Critical Technology Data Agreement (DD Form 2345, http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/pdf/registration/DD2345.pdf) along with a list of attendees (who must all be US persons) on company letterhead signed by the security officer to Hope McClain ([email protected].) All attendance requests must be received by 1600 Eastern Daylight Time on 7 August 2013. Seating is limited and will be granted on a first come, first served basis. All participants will be required to show a valid Government issued picture ID and their names must be on the approved attendees list prior to being admitted into the Jacobs Theater. Companies are limited to 3 attendees each. Companies making presentations are limited to 3 attendees in addition to scheduled presenters.
Persons seeking admittance to the classified sessions on 14 August 2014 must submit their visit certifications through the JPAS system (JPAS.SMO code W1DFAA) with Point of Contact (POC) as Martin Walsh.
