NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- National Guard Bureau, United States Property and Fiscal Office for Oregon (USPFO for Oregon), intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Coastal Seat Cushions Inc, 183 NE Royce Ave, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34983-1238 for distribution of Seat Cushions manufactured by Oregon Aero for use in HH-60M Blackhawk Helicopters per AWR (Airworthiness Release 14 April 2014 R-8).

Per AWR (Airworthiness Release) 14 April 2014 R-8, the only authorized seat cushions to be used in the HH-60M Blackhawk Helicopter is the Oregon Aero Pilot Seat Back Cushion P/N 6A-0237-101 and 103, Bottom Cushion P/N 6A-0238-101 and 103.

This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Coastal Seat Cushions Inc is the sole distributor of the Oregon Aero seat cushions for the HH-60M. No other firms have been identified.

Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 326150. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated for the result award. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
