The Naval Air Systems command intends to award a delivery order to the IDECM BOA with BAE Systems IESI, Nashua, New Hampshire, for field support of the ALE-55 subsystem, on a sole source basis for IDECM. The Contractor shall support all test and evaluation activities at the Government and Contractor?s facilities for IDECM, including installation and checkout; on-site laboratory setup, debugging and operation; hardware and software troubleshooting and repair; data reduction and reporting; flight certification; flight test crew training; pre-flight briefing; post-flight debriefing; and provide technical support for the integration and backwards compatibility with the other avionics. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis, as BAE Systems is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the ALE-55 IDECM subsystem and is the only firm that can provide these services within the required time frames.
