THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for award of a new contract for the repair of AAQ-22 (SAFIRE) system components for the 920th Maintenance Squadron at Patrick AFB. This requirement is for the purchase of services to provide failure analysis, corrective action/repair, refurbishment/upgrade, replacement parts for both Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) and Sub-Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SSRAs) and for the procurement of Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) for the SAFIRE TM, and configurations thereof for FLIR Systems, Inc. (FSI) product line. The SAFIRE TM consists of the following parts: Turret FLIR Unit part #95001215-1 and Central Electronic Unit part #95001103. The FLIR system components listed above are proprietary equipment and repair services purchased can only be supplied by requested manufacturer. No other vendors are authorized to certify repair IAW Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Period of performance is 20 August 2007 to 19 August 2008. This is a Sole Source with FLIR Systems, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3812 with a business size of 750 and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334511.
