The Government proposes to procure the Electronic Image Intensifier (EI2) that is being integrated onto the Apache AH-64D Longbow aircraft. The EI2 ship set is comprised of the camera and lens assembly. The Government proposes to acquire one lot consisting of 175 EI2 Cameras, 17 initial spares, 17 replenishment spares and lay in materials. Also, Option 1 consisting of one Lot of 240 EI2 Cameras, 24 initial spares, 24 replenishment spares and lay in materials. The Government intends to award sole source firm fixed price contract to Intevac Inc, Santa Clara, CA, under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources will satisfy agency requirements.
