NASA/DFRC has a requirement for (Quantity 1) C- Band Transponder Test Set.The specifications are:(Qty 1) Model 41-3 Part Number AY03500-3 C-Band Radar Transponder Test Set (Qty 1) One time enginering costNASA/DFRC intends to purchase the items from Micro Systems, Inc. This is the only vendorthat can provide these products modified to work with the current system.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 08/26/2010. Quote/Proposals form Micro Systems is due no later than 4:30pm local timeon 08/31/2010.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
