The proposed contractual action will be a five year M&O contract for the quantity stated above. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the M&O. Authority cited is Title 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agencys requirement. This item is identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is sole source because it is a CSI which requires approved sources to perform the overhaul. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1378 (CAGE: 78286). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List (CASL) procedures.
