The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue, on a sole source basis to BAE SYSTEMS of Greenlawn, NY, the follow-on production contract for the procurement (FY06-FY10) of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Digital Interrogators (DI) AN/UPX-37, including Mode S and Mode 4/5 Capabilities, Mode 4/5/C Upgrade Kits, Installation and Checkout spares (INCO), logistics, training, engineering support service, and technical data for associated line items. BAE SYSTEMS is the sole designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer, including associated software, of the AN/UPX-37 DI, and its Mode 5 and S capabilities.
