This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued unless requested. The solicitation number is H92241-04-R-0007, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The due date is 3 Nov 2003 no later than 2:00PM est. Proposals will only be accepted via e-mail to
[email protected]. No other responses will be considered. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 17. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413 and the small business size standard of 1000 employees. The U.S. Special Operations Command has a requirement for the delivery of 20 ea. Advanced Flight Control System (AFCS) control panels (P/N: 145VS110-6) and 60 ea. AFCS computers (P/N: 145VS100-17). Destination and schedule of delivery will be determined prior to award. It is the Government's intent to award a contract on a sole-source basis to Honeywell, Aerospace Electronic Systems, 2600 Ridgway Parkway, Minneap9lis, MN 55413, on the basis that they are the designer, developer, and manufacturer of these items. Honeywell retains all proprietary data and patents on the items requested. If interested parties respond as a result of this notice, they will be given due consideration required by law. Note 22 applies.
