The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to issue a task order under a Basic Ordering Agreement for selected upgrading of MV-22 IMI courseware to Bell-Boeing. The courseware will be baselined to Aircraft #41 Block A configuration for instructional material intended for pilots, enlisted aircrew and maintenance support. Courseware shall be delivered incrementally with all instructional material finalized and ready for training beginning October, 2005. The Bell-Boeing Team is the designer, developer, and sole producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the engineering data, technical skills and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, maintenance and support characteristics of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft to enable upgrade of existing IMI courseware delivered by Bell-Boeing under contract N00019-96-C-0054.
