U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO), intends to modify existing Contract Number USZA95-00-C-0002 with The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense and Space Group, Stewart Avenue and Route 291, Philadelphia, PA 19143-0858, for the Reconstitution of CH-47D aircraft to the MH-47G aircraft configuration. The proposed modification will allow the engineering to go beyond the MH-47G version 1, to the MH-47G, version 2.1. The contract was awarded to The Boeing Company on December 29, 1999. The Government intends to extend the period of performance through October 2005. The Boeing Company is the sole manufacturer o fthe H-47 family of aircraft.
