The Special Operations Directorate (AMCOM) proposes to procure, on a sole source basis, the re-manufacture of six (6) CH-47 aircraft to the MH-47G configuration (Lot 4). This requirement will include the use of Long Lead Items, Over and Above, Syst ems Project Management, Generation of Data, Acquisition of Spare and Repair Parts, and Configuration Management. The anticipated award date is 1 November 2005. This action will be executed as a modification to delivery order 0002 under BOA W58RGZ-04-G-0023. The intended source is The Boeing Company, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania 19142-0959 who is the prime manufacturer of the MH-47G Helicopter. The authority to us e other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
