OC-ALC is seeking sources to provide Contractor Logistics Support for repair of the KC-135R MPRS air refueling pods acquired under competitive contract F33657-95-C-0046 and installed by TCTO 1C-135(K)R-628. The MPRS assets are currently being repaired under Interim Contractor Support contract F33657-99-R-0039. Components to be repaired under this effort are the line replaceable units (LRU) of the MK32B-753 air refueling pods developed by Flight Refuelling Ltd. (FRL), U.K. Specific engineering and depot maintenance data has not been provided by the equipment supplier. New sources will be required to have an exclusive licensee agreement with FRL. The MPRS pods are installed on 20 USAF KC-135R and 4 Royal Singapore Air Force KC-135R aircraft. The projected contract award date is May 2003 with an estimated duration of 5 years. The contract will include repair and refurbishment of USAF Stock Listed Item Manager MPRS LRU assets specified in FRL component maintenance manuals.
