The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Time and Materials task order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0008 to the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 on a sole-source basis for the integration and engineering analysis for the Assault DIRCM system on the MV-22 tiltrotor aircraft. Efforts include assessing the aircraft configuration and integration required for potential Assault DIRCM solutions. The engineering analysis to be performed will address the following but not limited to: stress, dynamics, EMC/HERO, safety, human factors, electrical system, weight and balance, useful load, IR threat effectiveness/survivability and operational envelope impacts to the V-22 aircraft. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tilt-Rotor Aircraft. Bell-Boeing is the only source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to perform this effort.
