NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPETED. Quantity: Eighteen (18) each Replacement AH-64D Apache Longbow Aircraft with deliver y to occur May 2009 through July 2010. The proposed acquisition is limited to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, doing business as MDHC, Commercial and Government Entity, CAGE Code 8V613, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ 85205 because this item must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army/cmo/ and looking under Qualificati on Procedures for Aviation Requirements. MDHC is the only responsible source capable of providing the supplies or services necessary for the manufacture of AH-64D Apache Longbow Aircraft. The closing date is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
