It is the intent of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to negotiate on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (LMSSC), 1111 Lockheed Martin Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 for THAAD Field Support. The proposed acquisition is directed to LSSSC pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquistion will provide THAAD system support to include: Logistics Performance Requirements, Maintenance, Supplies, Training and Training Support, Forward Stationing for Theater Support, Logistics Information Capabilities, Post Deployment Software Support, Product Assurance, Safety, Missile Support and Engineering Services. The Contractor will be responsible for providing the required materiel, maintenance and personnel necessary to support fielded THAAD-peculiar equipment in each Fire Unit.
