This is a sources-sought announcement only for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to accomplish market research and support planning for the below listed requirements. The Government will not pay for any information or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this RFI. No solicitation is being issued at this time. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

The Government is seeking interested contractors for a contract to provide Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target (PATRIOT) Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) Missile Round Trainers (MRTs) and MSE Empty Round Trainers (ERTs). The Government does not have a Technical Data Package to provide for the MSE MRT and ERT effort.

The Government requirement is for 66 PAC-3 MSE MRTs and 66 PAC-3 MSE ERTs and associated production tooling. The delivery of these items must begin in August 2015, with a minimum of 6 each of MRTs and ERTs by the end of August, and the balance of the requirements delivered before November 2016.

Request that interested contractors provide the following:

1) Provide a description of your company's expertise and experience in providing trainers for air and missile defense weapon systems.

2) Provide a description of your company's experience in developing, testing, and delivering trainers for missile weapon systems in less than 12 months.

3.) Describe how your company can meet or exceed the required delivery date for the trainers.
