SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE (pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ to develop and provide the AGM-65E2 Laser Maverick CONOPS and Requirements, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and one prototype unit of the Maverick AGM (Air to Ground) 65-E2 Laser Guidance Control Sections (GCS) Laser Seeker Sub Assembly (LSA). There is no solicitation available because Raytheon Missile Systems owns necessary data rights and a data package is not available. Prospective subcontractors are encouraged to contact the Prime contractor. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and the proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
