This device ejects stores from the aircraft. Ejection or jettisoning action is accomplished by the impulse cartridge due to expanding gas pressures produced. Gas pressures are created within a calculated confined volume. For proper operation cartridge will be contained in such a manner that propellant is under constant pressure from the expanding gases.
