The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, is contemplating award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). Interested sources should be capable of providing engineering services for R&D in packaging and Insensitive Munitions (IM) applications. ARDECs IM technology consists of various areas including but not limited to: explosives, propellant/propulsion, warhead venting, packaging/barrier, and modeling and simulation. Offerors shall be able to provide computer aided design, finite element analysis, and drop simulation services to develop lean designs. The contractor shall build prototypes and conduct instrumented testing as needed to verify performance and provide cost data as applicable to determine feasibility of new designs. The Government may enter into one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) as a result of this notice. This notice is set-aside to small business concerns.
