The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to identify potential vendors that are capable of meeting a US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) need for a High Explosive (HE) system consisting of a Conical Shaped Charge and ceramic liner contained in a case. USSOCOM is looking for companies that have the capability to produce a conical shaped charge containing the explosive material LX-14, weighing 252 grams and is 60mm in diameter and 57mm in length. The case has a diameter of 76.2mm and a length of 80mm and is made of Polycarbonate material with no special manufacturing considerations. The liner, a critical component, is made of yttria stabilized zirconia ceramic.
