Minimum: One transmitter and 5 receiver firing units with five separate firing channels for each system. Receiver output on fire command can not be less than 300 volts. A single storage container is required for entire system (each). Systems must be capable of initiating commercial and military shock tube without additional purchases/acquisitions. System must have five minute safe arming/safe separation time along with removable, replaceable safe/arm device/key organic to firing transmitter. The Operating range must be 1 mile Line of Sight minimum; 900 MHz transmitter, with US FCC approval. Encryption of signals: 64-bit, frequency hopping, spread-spectrum. Waterproof, operate between -30oF to 140oF. Power source for transmitter and receiver: off-the-shelf, locally available, alkaline batteries. System must have testing and approval for DOD use by Navy Weapon Systems Explosive Safety Review Board.
