The Tactical Missile Division at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL is seeking contractors who are capable of performing demilitarization. The contractor shall demilitarize M26 Rocket Pod Containers (RPCs), rockets, and components including (but not limited to) warheads, rocket motors, sub-munitions, pyrotechnics, and any other components In Accordance With (IAW) DoD Manual 4160.21-M-1 and DoD Directive 5160.65 at locations within the Continental United States (CONUS). The contractor shall prepare, submit, and maintain a Total Solution Demilitarization, Disposition, and Disposal Plan IAW Government regulations. The Total Solution Demilitarization, Disposition, and Disposal Plan shall describe in detail the selected demilitarization, disposition and/or disposal processes, procedures, facilities, and special tools and equipment to be used by the contractor and all subcontracting tiers.
