The Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is conducting a Sources Sought/Market Survey for potential sources of BKNO3 Pellets Type II-A per MIL-P-46994.
BKNO3 is used in the production of the M927 Pyrotechnic Delay Assembly. The BKNO3 requires the use of a Laminac binder. Respondents must demonstrate that they have the capability to fabricate a minimum of 35 lbs of the BKNO3 pellets per the Mil-P above. A TDP is not available for this announcement. The Government will use this information to identify potential subcontracting sources for the Governments M927 prime contractor. Responses to this survey shall be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication to HQ, Army Sustainment Command, ATTN: AMSAS-ACA-R/Chris Calhoun at [email protected]. All information collected from this market survey shall be used for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
