The U.S. Army JM&L LCMC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to solicit andnegotiate, on a sole source basis, with Day & Zimmermann, Inc. - Lone Star Division - Camden Operations, Highland Industrial Park Area 15 AT, Camden, AR 71701-0000 under approved authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Ref :FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A). This procurement will be accomplished via a modification under contract W15QKN-07-C-0077. An estimated 1,800 M879A1 81mm Full Range Practice Cartridges (FRPC) Load/Assemble/Pack (LAP) will be procured. The First Article Test (FAT) for the M879A1 81mm FRPC LAP must be completed by 30 June 2009 and the 1,800 M879A1 81mm FRPC LAP must be fully delivered by 31 July 2009. Please see referenced note 22.
