The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Nordic Ammunication Company (NAMMO) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This action is for the manufacture and delivery of 5.56mm AP with a quantity of 5,371,221 for the base buy, with an option of 2,100,000; and 7.62mm AP with a quantity of 3,570,589. Delivery is required to be made within 120 days from date of award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
