The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award to Instrument Technology, Inc. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. 

The purpose of this acquisition is for the U.S. Coast Guard Counter-Intelligence Service (CGIS) to procure a 128503/2.85mm/1.5M HH xP V’SCOPE. The need for the V’SCOPE is to provide technical surveillance countermeasures support in the conduct of investigations and operations to include an advanced capability for the detection of technical surveillance devices.

This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information in response to this notice.

Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. All responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist Ty Cassady via email to [email protected] by 2:00 PM EST on May 19, 2021.

If the Agency does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the specified date, negotiations will be conducted with Instrument Technology, Inc. as the sole source and a Purchase Order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
