Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for, but not limited to, the following:

              127EAW24R0011 - Upper San Juan Campground Renovation - GAOA

The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals, inspection, quality control, and supplies necessary to repair damaged campground loop and provide restrooms at El Cariso Campground, Trabuco Ranger District, in Riverside County on the Cleveland National Forest. The contractor is also responsible for placement of vault toilet building order, all site preparation, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, and coordination of delivery, installation and construction of concrete accessible walkways and vehicular barriers (steel bollards). All necessary but directly related work, such as but not limited to sweeping, to correctly perform listed task but not listed under Pay Items are incidental.

Project location: El Cariso Campground - 32405 CA-74, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530.

Solicitation Number 127EAW24R0011 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about March 25th, 2024.  This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project.

The solicitation will include all site visit related information.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects:  The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
