The Department of Labor and Industry (DLI), Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), is hosting this Supplier Forum via MS Teams in order to discuss the requirements in order to facilitate and maintain collaborative efforts produced towards statewide goals by the members of the IL Network in Pennsylvania. The IL Network consists of the PA SILC, all PA Centers for Independent Living and the Pennsylvania Council on Independent Living (PCIL). The PA SILC has determined the continued need for a Statewide Advocacy Group (SWAG) which is comprised of representatives from each of the seventeen Centers for Independent Living (CIL) which will strengthen the IL Network statewide and respond to emerging disability issues. The priorities for the SWAG are as listed in the 2021-2023 Pennsylvania State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) as follows: 1. Implement strategies to create social change that will lead to full inclusion and integration for all Pennsylvanians with disabilities; 2. Improve access to services and supports by increasing access to transportation; 3. Improve access to services and supports by increasing access to housing; and 4. Improve access to services and supports by increasing access to Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).
